Play that tuneAerosmith is touring to pimp their new album, Music From Another Dimension.  In addition to the original tour dates, they have now announced an extension including no less than 14 additional cities starting November 8th and ending just over a month later, December 13th.

Steven Tyler will lead his group of Legendary Rockers through a whirlwind tour including Madison Square Gardens in New York City, MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale and much more!  In addition to music from their new album (which releases on November 6th by Columbia Records), you are sure to get a good sampling of the jaw-dropping hits you know and love from this genre-defining rock band.

Aerosmith Global Warming

Cheap Trick is joining Aerosmith on this tour in a supporting role, and they always provide a good show.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday, Septermber 24th, so don’t go blowing your paycheck over the weekend.  American Express is offering its members advance tickets as soon as September 19th, and there is even a pre-sale on Facebook as soon as September 21st.  This is definitely a show worth dropping some bucks on to see.  Let’s face it, these legends of rock and roll are getting older and sooner or later (please, much much later) there will come a time where they will hang up their guitars for good.  Don’t wait until it’s too late!!  And, no, I’m not being paid to say that 😉

Accompanying the press release that announced these new dates was a surprising concert review from Duff McKagan, who we all know from Guns N Roses, Velvet Revolver, and Loaded.  Here is what he had to say:

“Brad Whitford and Joe Perry are playing better guitar than ever. Steven Tyler is playful, happy and singing all of those impossible high notes. Joey Kramer has a drum groove like no other. And Tom Hamilton continues to be the steady anchor to this ship.”
