Allman Brothers Announce Final Tour Date

Posted 11 Jul 2014 in Artist News

If you’re a fan of the jam/roots/classic rock the Allman Brothers, we have some sad news for you: this fall will see the band’s last ever live tour date, unless something dramatically changes in the future.

Allman Brothers

The Allman Brothers are hitting the road for the last time.

However, the group plans to go out in style by playing a string of shows from October 21-28th at the Beacon Theater in New York City. Fans of the act are likely not surprised by the choice of venue; the theater has been yearly stop for the Allman Brothers, and they tend to play a string of 5-6 shows in a row whenever they appear at the Beacon. As of the writing of this article, the band has played the Beacon Theater an astonishing 232 times, which really says something about the longevity of the act.

Anyways, if you’re interested in seeing this legendary group play live one last time, you can begin purchasing tickets to the shows on July 11th. Furthermore, if you held tickets to the Allman Brother’s cancelled March performances at the Beacon, those tickets will be honored as well. We suspect these will sell out quite quickly, so if you’re interested, it would be worth it to purchase the tickets the day they go on sale..TODAY. Good luck!
