As we get further and further removed from the heyday of the 1960’s, it seems that these anniversary reunion concerts are getting more and more frequent. The most recent group to get together for another go around the tour circuit is legendar British rock act The Who.

The Who 50th Anniversary

The Who were formed 50 years ago, in 1964, and since then Peter Townshend and the rest of the act has seen a ton of time on the road. However, they aren’t done yet, as Townshend recently confirmed. Not only will the group be getting back together for their worldwide 50th anniversary tour, but they will also be releasing a new album in order to commemorate the date. That being said, the album isn’t completed yet, as Townshend and his collaborators have announced that they are still sorting through thousands of hours of unreleased material. However, the tour has been confirmed, and the group seems quite confident that an album will follow. Once official word on release and tour dates have been announced, we’ll be sure to keep you readers posted.
