Tuesday was a good day to be a fan of the San Francisco Giants…and The Grateful Dead! Some San Francisco legends showed up to sing the National Anthem at the San Francisco Giants baseball game on Tuesday.  Legends you say?  Yes legends!  Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh got the crowd and the team pumped up for a victory with their singing of the National Anthem along with Tim Flannery.

Even though OG Bobby Weir (that’s what our friends Slightly Stoopid call him) recently announced the cancellation of his future tour dates he, Lesh and Flannery (he’s the Giants 3rd Base Coach) did a killer job with the Anthem.

Although the brilliant minds at Fox Sports 1 didn’t have the foresight to broadcast the Anthem you can watch a clip of it below and see for yourself what it looks and sounds like.  After all, this combines two of America’s favorite past-times…Baseball and of course the Grateful Dead.

As an extra bonus make sure you take a peek at Slightly Stoopid and Bob Weir cranking out the ODB classic ‘Baby I Like It’….
