Bonnaroo Begins (Finally)

Posted 12 Jun 2014 in General News, Music, Performance

Well friends, the time is finally here: the utterly massive Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee is finally upon us. This giant festival will act as the four day for more than 100,000 individuals, and has grown a reputation for being one of the weirder, anything goes type festivals. In our book, that equates to a fantastic weekend, and it’s for that reason that one of our Guitar News Daily staff writers will be onsite at Bonnaroo all weekend long. We’ll be able to bring you readers up to date coverage, new scoops, and other news items all from the source itself. Also, if any of you readers will be at Bonnaroo yourselves, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll buy you a beer!

Bonnaroo 2014

This year’s festival features a number of big names, including Elton John, Mastadon, John Butler, John Paul Jones, and a host of other performances. We’re quite excited to see how the shebang goes down this year, and we hope to see some of you at the Farm!

If you happen to be at the festival it should go without saying that there are some performances you certainly don’t want to miss.  You absolutely won’t want to miss Umphrey’s McGee, Slightly Stoopid or ANY of the super-jams.  There are going to be some killer collaborative performances that will definitely leave you wanting more.  Let us know what your favorite acts are this year.  Tweet any news to us @guitarnewsdaily
