Bonnaroo lineup gets some heavy hitters

Posted 14 Jan 2015 in News

The lineup for the 2015 Bonnaroo event is surely shaping up nicely.

Bonnaroo

This will be the thirteenth Bonnaroo event and will once agin be returning to Manchester Tennessee beginning on June 11th and running through June 14th. When the final lineup is announced it will include more that 140 bands and comedians spanning 12 stages.

Some of the bigger acts at this years event include Billy Joel, Deadmau5, Mumford & Sons, Florence and The Machine, Kendrick Lamar, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Alabama Shakes, Bassnectar and many many more.

You may be thinking that Billy Joel seems a little out of place in the middle of Tennessee but the past events have seen other icons such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Tom Petty. We are betting that Billy will do just fine.

Joel began a massive comeback with the 12-12-12 benefit concert and has been performing regularly since then clouding his monthly gig at the world famous Madison Square Garden.

Based on the list of acts so far this years Bonnaroo is sue to be just as awesome as previous shows.

Stay tuned and we will keep you updated as more acts are announced.

what do you think about the lineup so far?  Are there any acts you are looking forward to seeing?  Is there anyone you feel should be invited but isn’t on the roster? Is there anyone you think should not be included? Let us know in the comments section.
