We just reported on the Disco Biscuits upcoming show with Bill Kreutzmann & Mickey Hart so it seems appropriate to mention that the remaining members of the Dead will be performing their final shows this summer in Chicago and will be joined by Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti.

This coming April the Disco Biscuits will heading to Colorado for Bisco Inferno.  Also they will be playing a show with two very special guests by the names of Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead.

The lineup for the 2015 Bonnaroo event is surely shaping up nicely. 

2014 may have come to an end on December 31st but it was only the beginning of the 4 night New Years Eve run for Phish at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fl.

If you aren’t going to be in Miami on January 2nd for the final show of Phish’s New Year’s run you can still catch a stream of the show and help out the Waterwheel Foundation while you are at it.

If you aren’t going to be traveling or out on the road this New Year’s Eve you can still catch some great live shows via webcast.

Roy Haynes has had an incredible career.  If careers were simply judged by longevity Haynes would certainly be close to if not at the top of the list as he approaches his 90th birthday.  But if you judge the quality of a music career based on style, collaborations and pure awesomeness then Mr. Haynes would certainly be considered in that conversation as well.

Ok so that title might be a little bit misleading but you can technically see Gov’t Mule for free at their show in Upper Darby, PA.

BBC news is reporting some sad news today.  We’ve learned that Joe Cocker has passed away at the age of 70.  Cocker’s agent Barrie Marshall has also confirmed the news that the legendary singer lost his battle with lung cancer.

The legendary Roxy will be the spot to be on January 12, 2015.  Adopt The Arts will be honoring Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Butch Trucks of The Allman Brothers Band.
