David Byrne Talking Heads Tribute Coming To Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall has seen it’s fair share of incredible shows.  Next March you will be able to add the David Byrne Talking Heads Tribute  another to the list.  Each year Michael Dorf gathers an amazing group of musicians to pay tribute to a legend.  Previous shows have included tributes to artists such as The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and Elton John.  The concert schedule for March 2015 will honor the music of the legendary David Byryne and The Talking Heads.

March 23rd is the scheduled date and in previous years we’ve seen the list of slated performers released around January.  Keep your eyes out and we’ll make sure to give you all the details as they come out.

In the meantime it might be a good idea to go through your old music catalog of Talking Heads/David Byrne material and spend some time daydreaming about what artists you’d like to see playing Byrne’s songs.  Imagine the possibilities!  It will certainly be a show to look forward to seeing and hearing.

Besides being a night of incredible music the money generated by the event will be going to a great cause.  These concerts are for the kids.  Really.  The proceeds will go to music education programs that serve underprivileged youth which is something we need to see more of.
