Hail to the naked, busking chief?

New York’s “Naked Cowboy” is planning to oust Obama.

Robert Burck is likely to be recognised by any tourist who has passed through the “Crossroads of the World” where he stands playing a guitar and wearing only boots, a cowboy hat and underwear. On Wednesday he donned his suit and tie to announce that he intends to run for president in 2012, as a member of the conservative tea party movement.

This isn’t his first foray into the world of politics. In 2009 he announced that he would run for mayor, before dropping out.
