Red Hot Chili Peppers In The Studio Without Rick Rubin

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are back in the studio working on another album.  But for the first time in a very long time the band is without legendary producer Rick Rubin.Brian Burton who is better know as Danger Mouse is rumored to be the next producer working with the Peppers for this latest album.  Danger Mouse has a very nice resume which includes production duties for The Black Keys, The Man, U2 and James Mercer from The Shins.

This will be the first time in more than 25 years that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will record without Rick Rubin who was there for all albums since Mother’s Milk in ’89.

We will keep you updated as more info comes out.  The album is rumored to be released in 2015 but now official date has been announced yet.
