Behold the Schecter Demon

In our recent trend of sharing the highlights of NAMM 2014 with you readers, we would today like to introduce you guys to a pretty badass new Schecter guitar, which officially been dubbed the Demon.

Schecter Demon

Seeing as this is a Schecter guitar that’s named after the minions of hell, one might expect a brutal metal machine. This expectation is not too off the mark; the Demon is a muted black guitar with gold lining. It definitely looks the metal part, but in many ways is more conservative and upscale than your typical pointy Schecter. In terms of hardware, the Demon is a basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck that sports 24 extra jumbo frets on a  rosewood fingerboard. This will all be picked up by the stock pair of Duncan HB105B humbuckers. The hardware is black nickel. Currently, there five versions of the Demon, but all of them are quite similar. Regardless, we predict this guitar to be a hot seller, but we’d love to hear your opinions on Schecter’s new additions.
