Slash is dipping his toe into the world of movie production, setting up “Slasher Films” in association with established company “Scout Productions”.

He is aiming to make “edgy contemporary horror fare with a nod to the thrillers of the 1970s and 1980s”, reported Deadline.

He has “…always been a huge horror fan and creating films that take you back to the days where horror movies actually scared the hell out of you is something I’ve always wanted to do”.

Their first film, “Nothing To Fear”, is already underway, with production set to start next year.

It is a story, written by Jonathan WC Mills, about a family who find themselves tormented by an ancient blood-sucking demon after they move to a small town in rural Kansas.
