An album signed by John Lennon, just hours before he was shot dead, has fetched $38,700 at auction. The “Double Fantasy” album was one of number of items of pop memorabilia which fetched almost £500,000 at an auction in London on June 14th. Lennon’s guitar is trapped
Illinois wants to rescue John Lennon’s guitar from the defunct Peace Museum. The guitar and other stuff has been sitting at storage sites, one of which may have “suffered significant water and mold damage,” Attorney General Lisa Madigan says.
