Zappa Plays Zappa: One Size Fits All

Posted 18 Nov 2014 in News, Performance

This is pretty big news for any of you Zappa fans out there.  Dweezil Zappa may be heading into the studio to record all new original material but don’t worry…it’s not the end for Zappa Plays Zappa.  In fact, Dweezil has some awesome plans in the works.

Dweezil Zappa

Zappa Plays Zappa will be touring to celebrate the 40th anniversary of One Size Fits All

Zappa Plays Zappa has been going strong for quite a while now.  To celebrate 10 years Dweezil Zappa announced plans for an upcoming tour where they will be playing the entire album ‘One Size Fits All’.  It’s been 40 years since Frank released that album and Dweezil and the band will play the entire thing on this tour.

One Size Fits All

One Size Fits All is packed full of classics.  Fans will get to hear Inca Roads, San Ber’dino, Andy and Sofa as well as the rest of the classic album.  Along with One Size Fits All you’ll get to hear other Zappa tunes and probably a few of Dweezil’s new songs as well.

If that isn’t cool enough select dates will feature master classes taught by Dweezil.  This is something that any Zappa fan won’t want to miss and if you happen to be someone who never had the opportunity to hear the brilliance of Frank Zappa this is a great chance to watch another Zappa do the album justice.

Tickets go on sale on Friday November 21st.  Check out the full tour schedule below.
