Musical Events We Are Looking Forward To In 2015

We are just getting into 2015 and from what we know so far it’s going to be a great year for music. From The Dead, to Dopapod, to the Disco Biscuits 2015 is going to rock! Here are a few of the many events we here at Guitar News Daily are looking forward to. Here we go. This is by no means a comprehensive list. If we left off an event drop us a line and let us know.

Fare Thee Well
– Dates: July 3-5, 2015
– Location: Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois

– Description : This will be one for the ages and something not to miss. Fare Thee Well will celebrate the end of more than 50 years of incredible music from the Grateful Dead. Joining surviving members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir will be Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti.

AURA Music and Arts Festival
– Dates: March 6-8, 2015
– Location: Live Oak, Florida

– Description: The 6th Annual Aura Music and Arts festival returns with another stellar lineup. We can’t wait to see sets from MOE, The Disco Biscuits, Break Science Live Band, The Heavy Pets, Dopapod, The Fritz and TAUK.

Summer Camp
– Dates: May 22-24, 2015
– Location: Chillicothe, Illinois

– Description: Back once again is the Summer Camp Music Festival. Of course we can’t wait to see one of our favorites MOE and you would have to be out of your mind to miss out on 5 sets of Umphrey’s McGhee. Other bands we can’t wait to watch are The NTH Power and The Steve Miller Band.

High Times Cannabis Cup – Denver
– Dates: April 18-20, 2015 (4/20…go figure)

Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival
– Dates: June 11-14, 2015
– Location: Manchester, Tennessee

– Description: Some of the bands on our must see list are Bassnectar, Alabama Shakes, Billy Joel, Gary Clark Jr and Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals.

Bear Creek Music Festival
– Dates: October 1-4, 2015

– Description: The Bear Creek Music Festival is becoming one of the must see events on the concert circuit each year. This year we can wait to see who shows up.

UM Bowl
– Dates: May 1-2, 2015
– Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
– Description: If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend a UM Bowl make sure to put it on your list. Paying homage to their enjoyment of football Umphrey’s McGhee delivers 4 quarters of music to the fans.

Those are just some of the festivals and shows we are looking forward to seeing this year. Just because we didn’t include something certainly doesn’t mean it won’t be awesome.
