Begley found guilty of killing guitar maker, Taku Sakashita

A 29 year old Sonoma County man is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole after being foud guilty of killing noted guitar maker Taku Sakashita. Joshua Begley shouted an expletive and slammed his hand on a table as the guilty verdict was read. Begley had to be restrained by deputies. Besides murder, Begley was found guilty of robbery, burglary, evading police and resisting arrest. THe 43 year old Sakashita was a respected craftsman from Japan who built instruments for a number of musicians including Boz Scaggs. He was found stabbed to death in his Rohnert Park workshop late at night last February.
