Even More Download Festival Acts Announced

If you’re a regular reader of this site, and I most certainly hope you are, then you’re probably aware of our ongoing coverage of the ever-growing list of acts on the 2014 Download Festival roster. Well, this time we’re coming to you with not one, but three new acts, and let me tell you, these are some pretty nice acts.

The first addition to lineup is Aerosmith, who will be the Sunday night headliners. This might be due to Steven Tyler’s recent solo album, but more likely it’s because of that knack for wrangling top notch acts that Download Festival has.

Aerosmith will be joined by ‘main supporters’ Alter Bridge. These guys, who are from Orlando, are set to rock some socks off. If you don’t know, Alter Bridge is made up of the disbanded members of Creed, but don’t let that discourage you from checking out their snazzy tunes.

Finally, in wake of their hyped up reunion, Fall Out Boy will be performing on the same night as Linkin Park. Truly, this night will be a potent shot of sweet, sweet 2005 music. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’m looking forward to this.
