Linkin Park Added to Guitar Center Rock Walk

While it’s not quite as prestigious as being added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Guitar Center’s Rock Walk does have a certain appeal and definitely is an honor to be added to if you are one of the lucky musicians that gets selected.

That’s why it is noteworthy that Linkin Park was recently added to the collection of greats. In light of their recent performance at Download Festival, it’s not hard to see why the legendary rock/rap group has been honored in such a way. After all, the group has been consistently pumping out hits since the early 2000’s, and even today the group is celebrated worldwide as one of the most important rock acts around. By cementing their handprints into Guitar Center’s Rock Walk, the group has forever memorialized their place in rock history.

All in all, we couldn’t really think of a modern group that deserves this inclusion more than Linkin Park. After all, the group has been rocking for quite a long time, and their uncanny ability to write hits is not paralleled by any other current act. We’d like to offer a congratulations to the band for all their hard work and wish them nothing but the best for the future!
