Paul McCartney Signed Vox Amp Up for Grabs on Ebay

As part of an effort to raise funds and awareness for the No More Landmines campaign – a charity aimed at removing the threat of landmines and unexploded weapons. and supporting survivors of landmine accidents – a VOX AC15H1TV guitar amplifier signed by Sir Paul McCartney has been put up for sale at an eBay Auction.

The auction states:

“We’re giving you the chance to own a genuine and absolutely unique piece of rock history; a VOX AC15H1TV signed by music legend and long-time VOX user, Paul McCartney.

The hand-wired AC15H1TV is the finest guitar amp we’ve ever created, and will transport you through the golden age of VOX tone. We’ve also added a few modern tone shaping control enhancements to make it the most tonally flexible AC15 to date.”

At the time of writing, the auction is currently at 2400 quid, and ends in 8 days 4 hours.  If you’ve got some cash to burn, want to support a good cause, and don’t mind some seriously good hardware, make it a point to check it out!

Update (20 June): the Paul McCartney sold on Ebay, fetching a price of 3900 pounds.  Not bad!
