Podcast makes somber announcement

Having just aired their 230th Episode, Six String Bliss, the longest-running guitar-centric Podcast on the Internet has announced that there are only two more weeks – until the deadline for submissions to the next upcoming album project (tentatively titled The British Are Coming). As with all previous Album Projects, this will be a collaborative effort by members of their listening community. The theme of this album is the “anything British”, and we welcome covers of songs by British Isles bands or even originals that pay homage to the British sound.

As with all of our previous projects, this has come about through audience participation in the Six String Bliss forum. Everything from the suggested topic to some proposed Album Covers are direct results of audience participation.

The procedure for entering is really quite simple: email your song selection (or, if you’re doing an original send the influences that make your original “British themed”) to our Bliss Army General at alicia@sixstringbliss.com. Once she has cleared your song (meaning no one else has already claimed it) she will let you know that it’s safe to proceed. Once you’ve recorded it and are ready to submit it, send your song (in mp3 format) and liner notes to sixstringbliss@gmail.com.

All guitarists are welcome to join in the fun of the Six String Bliss Forum. Projects like this will continue to thrive so long as there is an active community to make these happen. So please come by, introduce yourself, and join in the next project!
