Motorhead Cancels Tour

Friends, one of the great rock stars of our time has unfortunately been plagued with bouts of ill health recently.

Motorhead

You may already be aware that Lemmy Kilmister, frontman of heavy rock act Motorhead, has been too sick to perform during recent dates. His illness got so bad that the band had to make the unfortunate announcement that their recent European tour would have to be postponed. Rumor has it that this is due to complications with diabetes, and as a result Kilmister decided performing on tour would be detrimental to his long term health (though really, what tour isn’t?). This led to Motorhead rescheduling their recent tour to a series of dates this spring, but once again we must make the announcement that Motorhead will be canceling their tour. Although the official report claims Lemmy has made quite a big improvement, a collective decision was apparently made that his health just wasn’t quite solid enough to go on tour. The band has extended their deepest apologies to their fans, with Lemmy himself appearing quite distraught over the news. Hopefully, once Lemmy’s health has returned to stable conditions, European fans will be able to enjoy the heavy rock music they so deserve.
