Richard Gere’s guitar collection to go under the hammer
Richard Gere’s extensive guitar collection is to be auctioned by Christies on 11th October and proceeds will go to fund humanitarian causes across the world. The whole collection of 110 guitars is expected to fetch in the region of $1m. Gretsch pay tribute to Eddie Cochran with a signature G6120. For his whole career Cochran used an orange G6120 Chet Atkins, that he had bought at the tender age of 16 in 1955.
